What it does

Opens STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, BREP and STL.
Measures the distance between two points.
Gives the area of a face.
Sections the part along X, Y or Z.
Calculates size, volume and surface area.
Saves PNG screenshots.

What about the dimensions?

The viewer shows the geometry. To extract the dimensions, tolerances and the report, there is GALGA PMI.

GALGA was born in Valencia, in the automotive industry. It was built by design and production engineers with more than twenty years in moulds, injection moulding, gauges and dimensional inspection. Every launch started the same way: the customer’s 3D model, hundreds of dimensions and someone typing them into a spreadsheet by hand. We built it so we could stop doing that.
